As Chairman, Mr. Johnson provides oversight and counsel to the Company’s executive leadership team in the overall performance and strategic direction of the Company. In addition, he provides insight and resources to all investment activities.
Milton R. Johnson serves as President and Chief Investment Officer for Johnson where he is responsible for overall firm management with a focus on day to day operations, managing firm risks and firm investments and providing oversight to healthcare and federal healthcare project development teams and property management leadership as it relates to the on-going delivery of those key services. He is also responsible for driving and implementing firm strategy.
Mr. White is a Principal of the Company and serves as the Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for the strategic growth of the firm as well as ensuring the quality and efficiency of all client services. As a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, he has shared oversight of the company’s overall operating performance and strategic direction. He is also a member of the company’s Investment Committee.
Mr. Cler joined Johnson in November 2008 and heads the firm’s Midwest regional development office in Indianapolis, Indiana. As Vice President of Development, Mr. Cler is responsible for all aspects of the development process including the purchase of real estate or ground lease execution, site due diligence, securing planning and zoning approvals, execution of engagements with project consultants, pro forma development, leasing, and project management.
Derek Weaver joined Johnson in March of 2012 as Senior Vice President of Federal Property Development. In that role, he leads all pursuit and development initiatives related to our work with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and other federal government users.
Mr. Wilkinson joined Johnson Development in January of 2017 as a Senior Vice President of the Project Management service line. Prior to joining Johnson, Wilkinson was with the Healthcare Group of CBRE as the Director of Facilities Activation Services. Wilkinson spent 11 years with KLMK prior to its being acquired by CBRE. In his current role, Mr. Wilkinson is responsible for the delivery of project management and transition services to hospitals and health systems.
Mr. Wheeler serves as Senior Vice President of Development with responsibility for overseeing healthcare development projects from conception through completion. He heads the firm’s regional office in Dallas, Texas, established to better serve the firm’s clients in Texas and the Southwest. Mr. Wheeler provides expertise in project definition and coordination; site selection, acquisition, due diligence, and land planning; owner and tenant relations; communication with project team, vendors, and representatives; schedule and budget compliance; and overall quality assurance.
Ms. Relfe serves as Vice President of Operations for the Company with responsibility of oversight of the property management team, as well as, developing and maintaining relationships with the owners, managers and tenants of the properties that we manage. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining the processes and strategies of our day to day operations to ensure the services provided to our clients are efficient and effective.
Mr. Jenkins joined Johnson in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. In that role, he manages all accounting and financing reporting. With a background in asset management, Mr. Jenkins is also responsible for all asset management and reporting for third-party management clients as well as reporting and distributions for investors. In addition, he provides leadership in the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Michael Barksdale is a Vice President, Project Management with Johnson. As the lead for project management services in the Texas/Southwest markets, Michael will have overall project oversight for Johnson in the Texas and Southwest markets and will be responsible for the overall budget, schedule, and project team performance. Michael has 16+ years of experience in managing complex inpatient healthcare projects for clients throughout the southern United States.
